I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pergola on the Wharf in Canary Wharf, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we entered, the ambiance captivated us—a botanical haven with lush greenery and panoramic views over the north dock. The venue’s design seamlessly blends nature with modern aesthetics, creating a serene yet vibrant atmosphere.
The menu offered a delightful array of dishes crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each plate was a testament to culinary artistry, both in presentation and flavor. The drinks menu, curated in collaboration with London’s finest distilleries and breweries, complemented the food perfectly, offering a diverse selection that catered to all tastes.
What truly elevated our dining experience was the impeccable service provided by Dante. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine passion for hospitality were evident throughout our visit. I’ve been here a few times & Shabnam is the best waitress I’ve had by far!!! She was so lovely, polite, attentive and took great care of us. She was the perfect waitress, I cannot fault her! Thank you so much for making our Pergola experience amazing Shabnam!!

Came here last Saturday for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday. I had a couple of enquiries beforehand and contacted the team via email and received a very quick and friendly response from them.
Arrived Saturday on time and we were taken over to the seating area where I was told my table wasn't ready yet and it would just be a few moments. Didn't mind too much but we were left standing by the performers in the centre and not taken to the bar to wait. About 10 minutes passed and then I was taken over to a table who were finishing up and asked if I knew anyone on the table. I said no, my booking is just for my party, we aren't joining anyone and we're not late. I was told that someone else must have checked in my booking and that once this table I was left hovering around had finished, they would clean it up and we could sit.
It was another 10 minutes or so before we were fully seated. No menus were placed on the table and no one came over to take our drinks order for another 10-15 minutes after being seated. Service took ages and some of my party decided to go to the bar and get a drink whilst they were waiting. They managed to get a drink and return to the table before out bottomless drinks were at our table. Now these weren't individual orders, they were 2 pitchers of cocktails and a couple of beers.
We must have been sat down about 45 minutes before they brought over the shared starters, 2 plates of nachos between 11 people. It probably would have made sense to have 3. As the service was taking so long, we were still finishing our mains when the shared desserts were being placed on the table. We had asked if they could atleast wait 5 minutes so we could finish up and have time in between but they just put them down as it was about 20 minutes until the end of our bottomless. It was 2 bowls of churros in cream which were going to go soggy if left on the table and probably enough for 1 churro a person.
The venue is gorgeous and the music and atmosphere were great but the experience was a bit of a let down. The staff were friendly and helpful when you could finally got hold of them but perhaps the staff to guest ratio is a bit off.
